Job Description
Join FGF Brands as an Industrial Maintenance Technician, where you will troubleshoot and repair high-volume food manufacturing equipment. This role offers a dynamic work environment with opportunities for career growth and competitive compensation.
Key Responsibilities
Respond to mechanical issues in the production environment
Complete maintenance projects and PM tasks as assigned
Read electrical schematics and mechanical diagrams
Write parts requests and complete work orders
Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
Keep a clean work area
Perform building inspections and routines
Communicate with other team members
Perform Lock-Out-Tag-Out when necessary
Required Qualifications
Minimum 4 years work experience in a maintenance mechanic environment
Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
Understanding of AC/DC motors, motor control circuits, and sensors
Computer literate
Ability to understand blueprints and drawings
Must be able to work independently with minimum supervision
Must be able to work at heights from ladders or scissor lifts
Must be able to speak, read, and write English
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with boilers and steam systems
Strong welding and fabrication experience
Mechanical experience in a manufacturing setting
Familiarity with CMMS work order systems
Food manufacturing background with understanding of FDA requirements
Knowledge of conveyance
