Job Description
As a Clinical Pharmacist I, you will provide compassionate and efficient pharmacy services, manage patient drug therapies, and ensure safe and effective medication practices. Your expertise will directly impact patient care by preparing and dispensing medications, monitoring drug interactions, and providing education to healthcare professionals and patients.
Key Responsibilities
Fill orders for drugs and monitor patient drug therapies
Prepare and dispense drug orders per physician request
Maintain accurate patient drug records
Compound and dispense pharmaceuticals including chemotherapy and parenteral nutrition products
Provide ambulatory pharmaceutical care services
Monitor drug therapy regimens for contraindications and interactions
Participate in quality improvement and medication use review activities
Required Qualifications
Doctor of Pharmacy or BS Pharmacy degree
Pharmacy registration in the State of practice
State licensure within 60 days of start date
BLS or ACLS and PALS within 180 days of start date
