Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse provides comprehensive and culturally competent care to patients and families in the Labor & Delivery unit. Utilizes principles from biological, physical, behavioral, social, and nursing sciences to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. Adheres to the ANA Code of Ethics and the Ohio Nurse Practice Act while promoting collaboration between patients, families, and the healthcare team.

Responsibilities:

• Provide holistic, individualized care to Labor & Delivery patients across all age groups.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Ensure confidentiality and compliance with all hospital policies and nursing standards.
• Demonstrate flexibility, professional growth, and the ability to work in a culturally diverse environment.
• Cross-train and assist in NICU as required.

Requirements:

• Active Ohio RN License or Compact License.
• Minimum 3 years of Labor & Delivery experience (3–5 years preferred).
• Diploma in Nursing (BSN preferred).
• Current BLS (AHA).
• Must be available to work one major holiday.
