Join Sysco’s World Class Sales Team as a Sales Representative covering the Oakland/Berkeley territory. This outside sales role focuses on promoting Sysco's products while building strong relationships with customers to drive sales growth.
Key Responsibilities
Develop new business and penetrate existing accounts
Seek and qualify prospects
Research customer business needs and develop product mixes
Evaluate market trends and recommend products
Answer customer questions about products and services
Drive personal vehicle to customer accounts
Communicate and collect accounts receivable as necessary
Manage deliveries and troubleshoot order process issues
Participate in company functions and training sessions
Assist with training new employees
Perform administrative duties such as preparing sales budgets and reports
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Culinary Arts or related discipline
HSD/GED and 3 years Restaurant Management, B2B or outside sales experience, or equivalent relatable experience
Preferred Qualifications
Bi-Lingual
Restaurant Management, Foodservice Outside Sales, Chef Experience preferred
