Join Optum as a Part Time Pharmacy Technician, where you'll support pharmacy operations, dispense prescriptions, and collaborate with healthcare teams to enhance the lives of patients in behavioral health and addiction treatment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide exceptional customer service to consumers and clinic staff
Fill prescription orders under pharmacist supervision
Order, receive, and store pharmacy supplies
Process wholesaler medication orders
Verify medication stock and maintain inventory records
Assist in pharmacy functions and compliance with regulations
Perform clerical duties
Communicate effectively with verbal and written skills
Required Qualifications
Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in Michigan
Access to reliable transportation and valid US driver’s license
Ability to use own car for travel to Monroe and Ann Arbor sites
Preferred Qualifications
National Pharmacy Technician Certification
Pharmacy and prescription data entry experience
