Travel Nurse Job Details

• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, 4 shifts/week (weekends and holidays required)
• Guaranteed Hours: 48 hours/week
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1880–$2020
• Charting System: Epic EMR
• Scrub Color: Caribbean blue (black/white shirts under uniform allowed; pants may be black or Caribbean blue)

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active RN license (Registered Nurse)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Ability to interpret cardiac monitor strips
• Strong teamwork, customer service, and compassion
• Available to start on the specified orientation date
• Minimal time off requests (no time off within first two weeks)

ICU Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in ICU/IMCU
• Monitor and titrate drips, manage ventilators, and respond to emergencies
• Care for patients with complex diagnoses: CVA, MI, AAA, GI bleed, septic shock, substance abuse, and mental health conditions
• Float to Telemetry or IMCU units as needed (ratios may vary)
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare team: hospitalists, respiratory therapists, pharmacy, nurse aides
• Utilize smart room technology and ceiling lifts
• Maintain accurate documentation in Epic EMR
• Demonstrate flexibility, empathy, and resilience in a fast-paced clinical environment
