Job Description
Join Zen Educate as a School Aide, providing vital support to students in specialized education settings. Work closely with teachers to foster an inclusive learning environment and assist students with their personal and educational needs.
Key Responsibilities
Implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) or Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
Provide one-on-one or small group support using positive reinforcement and de-escalation strategies
Collaborate with teachers to maintain a positive, inclusive learning environment
Work closely with teachers, parents, and staff to ensure consistent support for students
Support personal care or hygiene needs as required
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma
Experience supporting individuals with Special Educational Needs
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to stay calm and patient in challenging situations
English proficiency
U.S. work authorization
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Special Education, particularly with moderate to severe behaviors
ABA Therapy experience
Behavior Technician Experience or AAC Devices knowledge
Knowledge of behavioral intervention strategies
CPR and First Aid
CPI or Pro Act Training
