Job Description
Join MelroseWakefield Healthcare as a Vascular Ultrasound Technologist, where you'll leverage advanced imaging techniques to support patient diagnosis and treatment. This role combines technical skill with patient care, making a significant impact on healthcare outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Sets up and operates ultrasound equipment
Assists radiologists and/or vascular surgeons in interpretation
Utilizes patient charts to review medical history and previous exams
Reports findings of each exam to radiologist
Performs exams according to IAC protocols
Oversees daily outpatient schedule and accommodates inpatient exams
Keeps up to date with new developments in the ultrasound field
Required Qualifications
Associates degree or higher in two (2) year Ultrasound program
American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (ARDMS)
Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) within one year of date of hire
Preferred Qualifications
Two (2) years as an ultrasound technologist
One (1) additional year of experience performing vascular examinations
