Job Description
Join Stratton Mountain Resort as an Infant Head Teacher, where you'll nurture and engage infants while providing exceptional care and service. This full-time position offers a chance to work in a vibrant community focused on extraordinary experiences for both guests and staff.
Key Responsibilities
Meet daily needs of infants 6 weeks to 15 months
Provide excellent guest service and encourage engagement among children
Communicate with parents/guardians about their child's experience
Observe and document children's development
Create developmentally appropriate curriculum
Maintain a healthy and safe working environment
Follow state mandated regulations
Attend monthly meetings with Childcare Manager
Perform administrative tasks as needed
Train childcare staff on emergency policies and procedures
Assist in coordination of emergency procedures
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
Child Development Associate (CDA) Certificate or Vermont Career Ladder III
At least 1 year experience working in a licensed child care center
First Aid & CPR certification
Must be 20 years of age or older
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor or Associates degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development or 21 College credits in a related field
Experience caring for infants
Strong communication skills, written and verbal
