Job Description
Join Optum as an Associate Patient Care Coordinator to improve health outcomes by connecting patients with the care they need. Key Responsibilities
Verify and authorize patient insurance coverage and eligibility
Update patient information and confirm co-payments
Manage patient scheduling and appointment confirmations
Address patient inquiries and resolve billing concerns
Collaborate with care teams to deliver excellent customer service
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
1+ years of customer service and/or call center experience
Preferred Qualifications
1+ years of experience working in a healthcare setting or medical office
Working knowledge of general office procedures
Basic level of proficiency with Microsoft applications
Bilingual in English/Spanish
