Job Description

The Director of Operations will lead the management of the agency's real estate portfolio, ensuring efficient operations and safety across properties in NYC. This role involves team leadership, vendor coordination, and the development of performance metrics to enhance operational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of agency properties across NYC
  • Manage area managers and vendor coordination
  • Develop and implement performance metrics
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations

Required Qualifications

  • 10 years of experience as a tradesperson
  • 5 years of managerial experience
  • Knowledge of technical building systems
  • Understanding of maintenance operations and vendor management
  • Fluent in English

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a hybrid role with field and office responsibilities
  • Familiarity with life safety system requirements and contract management
  • Ability to develop and analyze performance metrics
  • Experience managing large real estate portfolios
