Job Description
As an Active Duty Social Worker with the U.S. Army, you will use your expertise to enhance the well-being of Soldiers and their families, promoting emotional health and unit readiness. This role offers opportunities for personal and professional growth while serving your country and community.
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct services to improve the mental well-being of Soldiers and their families
Engage in teaching, training, supervision, and research
Policy development and crisis intervention
Attend trainings and continued education programs
Collaborate with other social workers
Required Qualifications
Master of Social Work from an accredited institution
Independent license for practicing Social Work in the U.S.
U.S. citizenship (for Active Duty)
Permanent U.S. residency (for Army Reserve)
Age between 18 and 34
