Job Details:
• Work 12-hour variable day/night shifts with 48 guaranteed hours per week
• Float to all inpatient units as needed
• Every other weekend and every other holiday requirements
• No on-call or callback requirements
• 2 years minimum nursing experience required, trauma level II experience highly preferred
• Required certifications: Wisconsin RN License, BLS
• EPIC charting experience required
• Must be outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
• Work on MAP Unit (Medical and Pediatrics) treating adult patients only
• Typical patient ratios: 1:4-5 on days, 1:6-7 on nights
• Treat conditions including respiratory illnesses, stroke, neurological conditions, gastrointestinal illness, diabetic management, renal failure, sepsis, wound care, and acute alcohol withdrawal
• Any color scrubs permitted
• Associate degree or certificate required, bachelor's degree preferred
• Contract eligible for 36 hours of low census unbillable hours
• Overtime after 48 hours worked
• Must demonstrate hard work ethic, resilience, change management skills, independence, and positive attitude
