About The Position

RN - Med Surg

• Location: Midland, MI
• Start Date: 7/21/2025
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts
  • 36-hour guarantee
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• On Call: None
• Dress Code: Navy Blue
• EMR: Epic

Job Description:

• Direct patient care and delegation to techs
• Comply with local, state, and federal care regulations
• Care for general surgical and orthopedic patients

Essential Duties:

• (30%) Assess needs, provide skilled nursing per plan of care
• (30%) Direct care: meds, treatments, alarms, transfers
• (20%) Evaluate effectiveness of care plan; update as needed
• (10%) Process physician orders accurately and promptly
• (10%) Follow up on medication changes and clarifications

Requirements:

• 2+ years Med Surg experience required
• BLS (AHA) required
• ACLS (AHA) required
• Travel experience highly preferred
• Epic experience preferred
• All scheduling requests must be submitted with profile
• No local candidates within 50-mile radius (permanent address required)
