The Senior Clinical Laboratory Technologist – Cytogenetics (FISH) performs complex genetic testing focused on human chromosomes using molecular cytogenetics techniques such as fluorescent in situ hybridization. This role involves specimen testing, troubleshooting laboratory instruments, ensuring quality control, and delivering accurate diagnostic results to support patient care, particularly in oncology. The position requires a scientific degree, clinical lab experience, and certification, working within a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

In this position you will have the opportunity to work in a branch of genetics that focuses on the study of the structure, function, and behavior of human chromosomes. Other techniques include molecular cytogenetics such as fluorescent in situ hybridization (FISH). Both applications aid in the diagnosis, classification, and treatment of acquired genetic diseases. Our oncology division is focused on providing world class solutions to better the lives of patients living with cancer.
Work schedule: Sunday-Thursday 8:00 am-4:30 pm
