Key Responsibilities
Establish and maintain plans for effective management of nursing services
Serve as an inspirational role model for staff
Oversee the development and implementation of nursing standards
Collaborate with administration and clinical representatives
Develop programs for recruitment, retention, and education of nursing staff
Facilitate collaboration between nursing staff and other clinical practitioners
Participate in hospital-wide quality monitoring and improvement actions
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in BSN
5 years of increasing operational responsibility in nursing
At least 3 years as a Charge Nurse, Nurse Manager, or Director of Nursing
Alaska Registered Nurse License
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s Degree in a Nursing-Related Field
Proven senior nursing administration experience
Previous clinical nursing experience working with a Medical Director and physicians
