Job Description
Join Quill, part of the Staples family, as a Sales Business Development Representative to drive sales and support a growing customer base. You'll manage accounts worth up to $10M, develop strategic growth plans, and utilize Salesforce to enhance customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for sales results for assigned book of accounts (~$8-10M+)
Acquire new business and manage current customer base
Map accounts and identify core and specialty category opportunities
Create and maintain understanding of accounts and growth plans
Utilize enablement tools to keep customer data updated
Know products, customers and vertical markets
Utilize Salesforce regularly
Execute sales strategies through various channels
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
3+ years sales experience in Account Management and/or Business Development
Must have the availability to travel (up to 4x per year)
Preferred Qualifications
Proficient computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office
Prior experience working with large complex accounts
Had responsibility for a sales quota and a track record of exceeding quota
Managed a complex deal shaping from start to finish
Experience with business-to-business sales process
Had responsibility to retain and grow accounts
