Key Responsibilities
Develop new business and minimize lost business
Seek and qualify prospects
Research customer business needs and develop product mixes
Evaluate market trends and recommend products
Inform customers about market conditions and product innovations
Answer customer inquiries about products and prices
Provide product information and training to customers
Drive personal vehicle to customer accounts
Communicate and collect accounts receivable
Manage deliveries and troubleshoot problems
Participate in company functions and customer events
Engage in ongoing training sessions
Assist with the training of new employees
Review and analyze sales reports
Perform administrative duties
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Hospitality, Culinary Arts or related discipline OR HSD/GED and 3 years Restaurant Management, B2B or outside sales experience
Completion of the Sysco Sales Internship
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Current automobile insurance with specified liability limits
Preferred Qualifications
