Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform inspection, diagnosis, preventative maintenance, and repair of diesel heavy trucks and engines
  • Utilize diagnostic software to interpret failure modes
  • Assist with emergency breakdowns when on call

Required Qualifications

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States
  • Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred)
  • Experience working on heavy duty diesel equipment or training from a recognized trade school
  • Ability to speak and read English well
  • Ability to meet physical and safety requirements
  • Must provide own tools

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years experience as a heavy duty Diesel Mechanic
  • Experience with troubleshooting/repairing DPF systems
  • Knowledge of diagnostic software like Premium Tech Tool (Mack), Allison transmission, Cummins, CAT, Peterbilt, and Paccar
  • Working knowledge of DOT and OSHA standards
