Key Responsibilities
Assess residents' health status and needs
Develop and document dynamic care plans
Communicate changes in resident conditions to interdisciplinary team members
Administer medications and treatments safely and timely
Monitor care delivery and identify problem areas
Assist with resident care and daily living activities
Complete continuing education related to nursing practices
Required Qualifications
Education from an accredited school of nursing resulting in RN qualification
Current RN license in the state of employment
CPR/AED certification (or willingness to obtain within six months)
Critical thinking skills
Excellent communication skills
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Ability to stand and walk for long periods
Ability to lift heavy objects using proper techniques
Ability to transfer and move patients weighing 200+ lbs
Ability to push and pull equipment over 40 lbs
Manual dexterity and coordination
Visual acuity to distinguish color
Ability to perform documentation electronically and in writing
