Registered Nurse Job Details

• Location: Westminster, CO 80023 (Colorado nursing jobs)
• Healthcare Setting: MedSurg/Telemetry Float Pool
• Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN)
• Start Date: November 10, 2025
• End Date: January 10, 2026
• Contract Duration: 9 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (3x12-hour shifts per week)
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Openings: 10 Travel RN positions
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1930–$2070 per week

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado or a participating NLC state
• Associate Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Minimum 1 year of recent RN experience (Telemetry or MedSurg preferred)
• Ability to float to other units and Centura Health locations within 60 miles as needed

Travel RN Responsibilities

• Assess and address the physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs of patients in a telemetry setting
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Perform therapeutic and diagnostic interventions, including IV therapy, wound care, medication administration, catheterization, and specimen collection
• Provide patient and family education to ensure readiness for discharge or continued care
• Advocate for patient safety, rights, and well-being at all times
• Delegate appropriately to non-RN personnel in accordance with healthcare policy and regulations
• Serve as a professional role model and mentor to new staff and nursing students
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and professional development activities
• Participate in ongoing learning, training, and quality improvement initiatives
