Job Description
As a District Sales Manager at Sysco, you will lead and develop a team of Sales Consultants to drive profitable sales growth in the food service industry. Your role will involve coaching, performance management, and implementing effective sales strategies within your territory.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the performance and development of Sales Consultants
Conduct one-on-one coaching sessions
Lead district meetings to drive sales
Enable customer engagement through expanded service options
Provide coaching, training, and feedback to sales associates
Required Qualifications
High School education
2 or more years' experience successfully growing profitable sales in the foodservice industry
Excellent interpersonal skills
Superb organizational and project management skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a related field
5+ years' foodservice sales experience
Ability to use Sysco's CRM tool
Mastery of consultative selling and marketing principles
