- Springfield Hospital Emergency Department
- Location: 25 Ridgewood Road, Springfield, VT.
- Open 24/7, 365 days a year.
- ~14,000 patient visits annually.
- Patients are screened by an ED Nurse upon arrival to determine severity and treatment course.
- Fully staffed around the clock.
- Time Off (RTO)
- Requested time off (RTO) must be noted and verified at upload .
- RTO requests after upload will not be approved .
- Maximum of 5 days RTO accepted (less is better).
- Holiday coverage: Travelers required to work two of the following:
- Thanksgiving & the Friday/weekend after
- Christmas Eve/Christmas Day & the Friday/weekend after
- New Year’s Eve/New Year’s Day & the Friday/weekend after
- Extensions ending in November or before December holidays will not be considered for early 2026 extension.

- Experience:
- 2+ years of current ED experience in a hospital setting – Required.
- 3 months minimum travel experience – Preferred.
- Bachelor’s Degree – Preferred.
- Profile Requirements:
- Permanent address must be included.
- Any/All RTO must be listed in profile.
- Work history.
- Skills checklist (current within 1 year).
- 1 supervisory signed reference (from past 2 years).
- License/Certifications uploaded with profile:
- Current Nursys, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and BLS (facility will not pend certs).
