Join our team as an Internal Medicine - Geriatrics Physician, where you will provide medical oversight and leadership in caring for frail elderly participants. Your expertise will guide quality improvement initiatives and enhance patient care in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide medical direction and oversee participant care
Lead Quality Assurance Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives
Develop and maintain medical policies, procedures, and protocols
Supervise Primary Care Providers (PCPs) and Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)
Conduct history and physical exams, develop treatment plans, and manage chronic conditions for frail elderly participants
Participate actively in interdisciplinary team meetings and family conferences
Educate participants and caregivers about health maintenance and medical conditions
Manage changing priorities and support creative alternative healthcare delivery models
Required Qualifications
Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
Active Indiana Medical License (or willingness to obtain)
BLS, DEA, CDS certification
Minimum 1 year experience with frail/elderly population
Supervisory experience
Preferred Qualifications
Board Certified or CAQ in Geriatrics
