Summary

Pay Rate: $17-$21

Evening Shift Differential: $1.98 cents 

Weekend Differential: $1.00

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for the cleaning and sanitation of areas within the hospital and connecting campus. Areas include, but are not limited to, patient rooms, lobbies, waiting areas, offices and office suites, classrooms, restrooms, etc... Must adhere to health code guidelines and those set forth by management and supervisors.

REQUIREMENTS
  • Preferred High School Diploma Minimum 18 years of age. Ability to read and write well enough to identify chemical agents, follow strict isolation procedures and complete paperwork
  • Less than 2 years minimum of 1 year of experience in janitorial cleaning, preferably in a healthcare environment. On the job training is required. Required


SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

Effective interpersonal skills, both written and verbal to effectively communicate housekeeping activities with patients, other departments and staff. Answer telephone calls and pagers. Keep supervisor/manager advised of activities, needs and problems.
