Job Description

Join New Directions Mental Health as a Mental Health Therapist, where you'll provide culturally sensitive therapy to diverse clients and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance behavioral health outcomes. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments for new clients and families
  • Provide tailored outpatient individual and family therapy
  • Develop comprehensive crisis plans, safety plans, and wellness plans
  • Participate in case consultations, agency meetings, and discharge planning
  • Ensure timely completion of billing, documentation, and treatment plans
  • Engage in collaborative care with a team of healthcare professionals

Required Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Counseling, or a related field
  • Provisional license per state regulation (if required)
  • Educational background that leads to or has resulted in professional licensing
  • Strong commitment to ethical practice and maintaining confidentiality
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients and families
