PCU Registered Nurse Job Details

• Location: Chandler, AZ 85286 (Arizona nursing jobs)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 12/29/2025 – End: 3/30/2026)
• Healthcare Setting: Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
• Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse, On-Site
• Shift: 12 Hour Days (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
• Hours per Week: 36 scheduled
• Guaranteed Hours: 24
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1990-$2130
• On-Call & Weekend: Schedule determined by facility

PCU RN Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona
• Minimum 2 years of recent Progressive Care Unit (PCU) nursing experience required
• Current ACLS (AHA) and BLS (AHA) certifications
• No license hits; clean nursing record
• Flu vaccination required (declinations considered)
• Travel nursing experience preferred
• Candidates with an AZ home address on their driver’s license are not eligible

PCU Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to PCU patients following clinical protocols and standards
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions in the electronic medical record
• Administer medications and collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Educate patients and families on care plans and post-discharge instructions
• Participate in unit-based initiatives and quality improvement projects
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements
