Job Description
Join The Jewish Board as a Social Worker and make a profound impact on the lives of Deaf, Deafblind, and Hard of Hearing adults facing mental health challenges. You'll provide essential clinical interventions, support recovery goals, and collaborate with a dedicated team to promote independence and well-being in a culturally sensitive environment.
Key Responsibilities
Carry a caseload of residents and provide services
Complete client assessments including intake and risk assessments
Practice person-centered and collaborative service planning
Provide individual and family counseling
Make referrals and coordinate services for clients
Advocate on behalf of residents with service providers
Participate in weekly case conferences and staff meetings
Complete documentation of all resident interactions
Required Qualifications
Master's degree in Social Work
LMSW or LCSW certification preferred
Fluent in American Sign Language
Minimum of 1-year experience in Human Services preferred
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with individuals living with serious mental illness, substance use disorders, or trauma
