Job Description
Join Torchy's Tacos as a Kitchen Supervisor to lead back-of-house operations, ensuring food quality and team development in a fast-paced environment. Bring your passion for scratch-made food and strong management experience to create an exceptional dining experience.
Key Responsibilities
Managing food costs, placing orders, updating pricing, and completing inventories
Selecting, interviewing, and hiring all BOH Team Members
Creating BOH Team Member schedules
Verifying that BOH Team Members follow all recipes and proper portioning
Utilizing Mystery Shop and Damn Good Restaurant Assessment results for operational improvements
Communicating effectively with Team Members
Motivating and leading Team Members according to Torchys Values
Running daily operations and supporting the store
Partnering with Learning & Development for Team Member training
Required Qualifications
3+ years of kitchen management experience
State alcohol-server certification
Manager ServSafe Certification
High-level understanding of training and development concepts
Ability to foster teamwork
Leadership skills
Oral and written communication skills
Excellent time management skills
Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry heavy objects up to 40 pounds
Ability to stand for several hours and walk for long periods
Ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach for objects on shelves at various height levels
