Key Responsibilities

  • Engineer solutions to improve equipment reliability, safety, ergonomics, and compliance with ISO 14001 and ISO 450001
  • Provide technical support to Production, Maintenance, and IT departments
  • Develop, design, and update PLC, VFD, and HMI programs
  • Update and maintain National Instruments LabVIEW code
  • Interface with engineering, manufacturing, maintenance, IT, and Production teams
  • Apply NEC knowledge for planning industrial equipment installations
  • Supply project leaders with capital cost estimates and timelines
  • Lead projects or project steps and solve complex problems
  • Manage outside engineering and construction personnel
  • Integrate equipment into data collection systems
  • Support network backup and control system asset inventory
  • Compile data from connected devices for organizational use
  • Identify and assume additional responsibilities aligned with company goals

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 3+ years of professional experience
  • Experience with AutoCAD Electrical CAD software
  • Experience with PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and test equipment
  • Knowledge of NFPA 70, 70E, and 79
  • Knowledge of basic networking concepts and SQL Database

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Rockwell Automation software
  • Experience with Siemens software
  • Experience with National Instruments LabVIEW
