This position is for a Local Contract Nurse RN specializing in the Operating Room (OR) at a multi-specialty hospital in College Station, Texas. The role involves working 36-40 hours per week on day or night shifts, providing perioperative nursing care for patients of all ages in a Level III Trauma Center with specialized units including heart, cysto, and NICU. Applicants must hold a Texas RN license, have at least 2 years of nursing experience, and BLS certification.
Rang Healthcare is seeking a local contract nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a local contract nursing job in College Station, Texas.
Job Summary
36-40 hrs/wk Schedule: Day Shift, self- scheduling. Plus call schedule Operating Room Department Specifics: Patient Population: All age groups 6 months and up. # of rooms: 10 (includes heart and cysto rooms) Patient Ratios: 1:2 or 1:3 non-profit, 143-bed, multi-specialty hospital. The Medical Center is a certified advanced primary stroke center, a certified chest pain center as well as a Level III Trauma Center. We also have the only Level III NICU designation in Brazos Valley. Additionally, we have achieved the American Nurse Credentialing Magnet Designation. Qualification
MAJOR - Nursing EXPERIENCE - 2 Years of Experience
BLS(AHA) certification
RN License(TX, Compact)
