Join AMR as an Emergency Response Paramedic, where you'll provide critical medical care during emergencies, operate ambulances, and collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and well-being.
Key Responsibilities
Utilize medical equipment and procedures to provide advanced medical care
Drive the ambulance and provide map reading support
Maintain all required certifications
Communicate with dispatcher to receive call data
Monitor and maintain the general condition of the unit
Document activities regarding patient care and billing
Follow policies regarding out-of-chute times
Consider patient status when determining transportation destinations
Work collaboratively with allied health and public safety personnel
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
Current state Paramedic License
Valid State Driver’s License
Current BCLS, ACLS, PALS or PEPP, BTLS or PHTLS Provider Certification
