Job Title: Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) – Scrub Required  

Location: Portland, OR Contract 

Length: 13 Weeks  

Shift: 4x10-Hour Days (Monday–Friday, 07:00 AM – 05:30 PM)

About the Facility Legacy Emanuel Medical Center is a leading acute care teaching hospital and Level I Trauma Center located in Portland, Oregon. With 554 staffed beds and a reputation for excellence in emergency and specialty care, the facility offers a dynamic and collaborative environment for healthcare professionals.

Position Overview Legacy Health is seeking an experienced Cath Lab RN with scrub capabilities in neuro interventional radiology (IR), vascular, and general IR procedures. This is a contract opportunity for a skilled nurse to contribute to a high-acuity, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Scrub for neuro IR, vascular, and general IR procedures
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care
• Float within the site and across the Legacy Health system as needed
• Participate in on-call rotation: approximately one weeknight per week and one weekend every 3–4 weeks
• Complete assigned education within one week of assignment start

Qualifications

• Active Oregon RN license or proof of application and fingerprinting
• Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience with scrub capability
• Required Certifications:
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – American Heart Association
• Preferred Certification: Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

Additional Information

• No requested time off (RTO) permitted during the first two weeks of the assignment
• Maximum of 7 days RTO allowed during the contract
• Refusal to float may result in contract cancellation
• Charting System: Epic
• Scrubs: Provided for Cath Lab staff
• Parking: Free in any unrestricted space
• Low census policy: May be cancelled one shift per two-week pay period without penalty
