Key Responsibilities
Coordinate clinical activities of the Inpatient Wound Care Program
Perform assessment and plan patient care
Evaluate patient assessment, planning, and intervention process
Deliver direct patient care appropriate to the age of patient served
Assess and diagnose wounds, ostomies, and continence disorders
Develop and implement treatment plans
Monitor and evaluate patient progress
Provide patient education on self-care and disease management
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals
Document patient progress and treatment plans accurately
Provide emotional support to patients and their families
Manage and maintain specialized equipment and supplies
Required Qualifications
Current licensure by WV State Board of Nursing
Graduate of a Program in Discipline
Ability to work independently
Experience in wound, ostomy and continence care
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
Wound Care Certification
1-2 years related experience
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
