Job Description
Join our dynamic, community-focused laboratory as a Lab Assistant. You'll play a critical role in obtaining and processing specimens, assisting clients, and ensuring high-quality laboratory operations while enjoying competitive pay and excellent benefits.
Key Responsibilities
Obtain blood specimens following established procedures
Process specimens for testing and storage
Assist clients with specimen collection and delivery
Perform diagnostic electrocardiogram on outpatients
Maintain vehicle and promote safe driving
Required Qualifications
High school education or equivalent
Some knowledge of medical terminology
3 months phlebotomy experience or phlebotomy certificate with clinical rotation or 6 months experience in a medical field providing patient care
Preferred Qualifications
Current MLT student in clinical rotations
College level courses in biological science
