Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide patient-oriented service in a clinical or front office setting
  • Complete the registration process by collecting patient demographics and insurance verification
  • Collect patient co-pays and manage financial conversations
  • Verify insurance coverage and create price estimates
  • Respond to patient inquiries in a compassionate manner

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 1+ years of customer service experience in a hospital or office setting
  • Ability to work 100% onsite
  • Ability to work the scheduled hours
  • Must be 18 years of age or older

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Microsoft Office products
  • Experience in a Hospital Patient Registration Department
  • Experience in insurance reimbursement and financial verification
  • Working knowledge of medical terminology
  • Understanding of insurance policies and procedures
