Key Responsibilities
Provide patient-oriented service in a clinical or front office setting
Complete the registration process by collecting patient demographics and insurance verification
Collect patient co-pays and manage financial conversations
Verify insurance coverage and create price estimates
Respond to patient inquiries in a compassionate manner
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED
1+ years of customer service experience in a hospital or office setting
Ability to work 100% onsite
Ability to work the scheduled hours
Must be 18 years of age or older
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Microsoft Office products
Experience in a Hospital Patient Registration Department
Experience in insurance reimbursement and financial verification
Working knowledge of medical terminology
Understanding of insurance policies and procedures
