Local Contract Nurse RN - OR - Operating Room - $59-62 per hour

IMCS GROUP is seeking a local contract nurse RN OR - Operating Room for a local contract nursing job in Kansas City, Kansas.

Job Responsibilities/Duties:

• Conduct preoperative assessments and patient preparation.
• Verify surgical consent, site, and procedure.
• Review patient history, allergies, and lab results.
• Ensure surgical equipment and supplies are prepared and functional.
• Serve as scrub or circulating nurse during surgical procedures.
• Maintain sterile technique and monitor surgical field.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical techs.

Requirement

On-call Requirements: Required, up to 6 call shifts per 13 week contract

Holidays Requirements: "Holidays not required: In the event of a holiday falls on scheduled workday, subsequent pay period will be reduced by holiday pay hours. "

Floating Requirements: Will float to all ORs

Experience Required: 2 years experience, level 1 trauma experience. Must have strong scrub experience! They need to be familiar with DaVinci robot cases, large head and neck cases, neuro spine, ex lap cases. they need to at least be very familiar with one of these services.

Experience Preferred: Ortho, General, Trauma, GYN, Urology, Plastics

Certificates Required: BLS
