The Reservations Coordinator at Lingua Franca Winery ensures an exceptional visitor experience by managing reservations and providing customer support. This role involves administrative duties, guest interactions, and supporting events, all while embodying a commitment to customer service excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as primary reservations agent for Lingua Franca Winery hospitality and events
Manage online bookings and troubleshoot problems
Interact with guests via phone and email, ensuring satisfaction
Maintain knowledge of company sales payment protocol
Answer reservations phone line and assist guests
Execute daily reporting on guest visitation and financials
Support guest data capture as requested
Assist guests with wine purchases
Help management with event sales and booking
Assist in training and orientation for new staff
Provide knowledge about wines and the winery
Process customer orders using POS systems
Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work under pressure and on tight deadlines
Strong team-oriented work ethic
Knowledge of wines and the wine industry
Proficient with PC software including Microsoft Word and Excel
Intermediate math skills
Preferred Qualifications
1-3 years of experience in a high-volume, luxury retail, restaurant, or hospitality environment
Prior knowledge of reservation software (Tock, WineDirect, etc.)
Foreign language skills
