Assists in the evaluation and treatment of patients ages 13 years old and older referred to the Cardiac Rehabilitation Programs, and other programs associated with the Cardiac Rehabilitation Services. Is also involved in the ongoing development of these programs. Education Qualifications:
6 months experience in cardiac or pulmonary rehabilitation or Successful completion of a cardiac rehabilitation internship of at least 400 hours
~ Meets Core Competencies as defined by AACVPR for Cardiac Rehabilitation Specialist

Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology or health care related field
American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) Clinical Exercise Physiologist (CEP) or American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR) Certified Cardiac Rehabilitation Professional (CCRP) within 1 year of hire
American College of Sports Medicine ( ACSM) certification at the exercise specialist level within 2 years of employment or a current RN license in ND with Cardiac Rehabilitation certification within 2 years
