MedCadre is seeking a travel nurse RN Pediatric PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Hershey, Pennsylvania.

Job Title: RN Pediatric Stepdown
Location: Hershey, PA 17033
Shift: Day or Night 3x12-Hour (7:00-7:30)

Local Pay Rate: $55/Hr on w2
Travel Pay Rate: $2403 weekly ($23/Hr W2 + $1575 weekly stipend)

Start date: 11/24/2025

Position Summary:  

• 12 hours, 7:00 to 7:30 / Every other weekend every other holiday.
• Floats to other Children's units and may be a sitter with patients (1:1)
• 13 week assignment
• The PSCU cares for the majority of surgical service lines but this unit will also see medicine overflow.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement, monitor, evaluate, update and revise patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, document and communicate patients’ conditions.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
• Educate patients and their families. 

Required Qualifications:

• Experience in Home Ventilators needed.
• Cerner Charting preferred.
• 3 years Pediatric Stepdown or PIMCU experience preferred.
• 3 years in Level 1 Trauma experience preferred
• BLS, PALS
• Compact or PA State RN License
