Job Description
Join The Jewish Board as a Social Worker and make a meaningful impact in community behavioral health. Provide compassionate, evidence-based services in an outpatient mental health clinic, focusing on diverse populations and addressing health disparities. Collaborate with families and community partners to enhance the lives of individuals and families.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive evaluations and psychosocial assessments
Develop treatment plans in collaboration with clients and family members
Provide individual, group, family, and crisis interventions
Coordinate care with families, schools, and community agencies
Participate in clinical meetings, staff meetings, trainings, and supervision
Maintain documentation according to established standards and time frames
Uphold professional behaviors and ethical standards
Required Qualifications
Master's degree in counseling, creative arts, or social work from an accredited program
New York State License or limited permit in Mental Health Counseling (LMHC), Creative Arts Therapy (LCAT), or social work (LMSW)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience treating children or adolescents
Fluency in a second language
