Position: Travel Speech Pathologist Therapist Location: Northeast Georgia Rehabilitation Institute, Gainesville, GA Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM Assignment Type: Travel

Overview

Northeast Georgia Rehabilitation Institute is seeking an experienced Travel Speech Pathologist Therapist to join the rehabilitation team. This role is ideal for therapists with strong neuro or inpatient rehab backgrounds who are committed to delivering high-quality evaluation and treatment services for diverse patient populations.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients with neurological, orthopedic, and geriatric conditions.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve communication, swallowing, and cognitive-linguistic skills.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary rehabilitation teams to ensure coordinated patient care.
  • Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately in medical records.
  • Provide patient and family education regarding therapy goals and strategies for continued improvement.
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and compliance with facility standards.

Must-Have Skills/Experience

  • Evaluation and treatment of neuro, orthopedic, and geriatric populations.
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional experience .

Preferred Skillset/Experience

  • Neuro and inpatient rehab experience.
  • Experience with GG Quality Indicators .

Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
  • Current state licensure in Georgia or eligibility for licensure.
  • Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary rehabilitation environment.
