Job Description
Join Lincoln Electric as a Designer Drafter to support our Plant Engineering team. You'll be responsible for creating and modifying designs, collaborating with engineers, and using CAD systems to enhance our manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
Support Plant Engineers with creation/modification of 3D models and manufacturing drafts
Reverse engineer components from physical parts or legacy drawings
Create and manage electronic files using document management systems
Maintain mechanical CAD procedures and standards
Support fabrication through creation of supporting files
Document existing production and facility support equipment
Assume additional responsibilities as needed
Required Qualifications
Minimum of a High School Education or GED
Minimum of 3 years professional experience in design and drafting
Technically proficient in Solid Edge, SolidWorks, Catia, or NX
Familiarity with AutoCAD
Experience with data management systems (PDM/PLM)
Experience with measurement tools such as micrometers and calipers
Basic computer literacy and familiarity with Microsoft software
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Exposed to machine shop or metal manufacturing processes
Highly motivated to quickly learn 3D CAD drafting and detail print making skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Organized and detail-oriented
Self-motivated with a high level of ownership
Capable of working independently and as part of a team
