Job Description
Join Optum as a Licensed Behavioral Clinician in Pittsburgh, PA, where you'll provide critical mental health treatment and support. Be part of a team dedicated to improving healthcare for diverse populations and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Screen and assess patients for mental health and substance abuse disorders
Provide treatment for mental health conditions using various therapeutic approaches
Systematically track treatment response and monitor patients for changes
Maintain accurate electronic medical records and clinical documentation
Required Qualifications
Master’s degree in psychology, social work, or a related counseling field
Clear, active and unrestricted license (LCSW, LPC, LMFT) in Pennsylvania
Currently eligible to be enrolled as a provider in the Medicare program
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of professional experience post master’s degree providing behavioral health services
Experience providing direct psychotherapy services to individuals, families, couples, and children
Experience working with computers for professional communication and medical documentation
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
