Travel Nursing Job Details

• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
• Healthcare Setting: Medical/Surgical Telemetry (Float)
• Start Date: November 3, 2025
• End Date: January 31, 2026
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7p-7a), rotating evenings/nights, every other weekend, rotating holidays
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1990 - $2130 per week

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience
• Travel nursing experience preferred
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• BLS certification (American Heart Association) required
• IV therapy experience and ability to perform phlebotomy
• Completion of Medical/Surgical IV Medication Module
• Successful completion of Basic Arrhythmia exam

Med/Surg Tele RN Responsibilities

• Coordinate comprehensive nursing care for patients in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Educate and support patients and families throughout the care process
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver quality patient care
• Administer medications and manage IV therapy safely and effectively
• Monitor and assess patients on telemetry, including cardiac medication administration
• Care for post-operative and orthopedic patients
• Document patient care accurately using electronic medical records (EMR)
• Respond promptly to emergency and urgent situations
• Identify and report signs of neglect or abuse in accordance with Massachusetts law
• Provide age-appropriate care and respect patients' advance directives
• Maintain compliance with all RN licensure, certification, and hospital policies
• Perform other nursing duties as assigned
