ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Attleboro, Massachusetts.

Job Details:
• Work 3x12 night shifts with every other weekend coverage required
• Float pool position based out of McCann unit - may work in 2 different units during a 12-hour shift depending on need
• Patient ratio of 1:5 for both days and nights
• Care for patients in M/S Tele & Tele units including medical, surgical, and observation patients
• Must have cardiac experience and 2+ years of nursing experience
• Required certifications: ACLS and BLS
• Documentation system: Cerner (experience preferred but not required)
• Skills required: interpretation of dysrhythmias, IV insulin protocols, management of cardiac drips (no titration), telemetry monitoring, titration of insulin drips, Cardizem drips, and Amiodarone drips
• Float pool experience preferred
• May be assigned to relieve Avasure video monitoring system operator for breaks and meals
• First-time travelers accepted with appropriate experience
• Massachusetts license required in hand at submission
• Standard contract length is 14 weeks
• Guaranteed 36 hours for 3x12 shifts or 48 hours for 4x12 shifts

This healthcare facility operates a comprehensive float pool system consisting of nurses, PCAs, and OAs who are strategically placed based on unit needs determined during bed meetings. The facility utilizes advanced monitoring technology including the Avasure video system that can monitor up to 12 patients simultaneously. The organization provides telemetry and medical-surgical services with observation units, focusing on cardiac care and comprehensive patient monitoring.
