Job Description
Join Swedish Health Services as a Professional Development Specialist RN, where you'll enhance clinical staff's educational support and foster their professional growth, ensuring safe and positive patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Assess the learning needs of staff and assist in developing professional growth plans
Plan and operationalize educational activities for staff
Measure learning adequacy and provide remediation as necessary
Consult on educational delivery methods and curriculum development
Differentiate educational interventions for learning deficits
Assist staff in planning for formal educational growth opportunities
Prepare and evaluate learning materials for educational activities
Provide coaching for knowledge acquisition methods
Coordinate learning activities with Employee learning and Advancement departments
Maintain expertise in teaching/learning and clinical competency
Required Qualifications
Master's Degree in Nursing
Registered Nurse License upon hire
3 years experience in nursing leadership including clinical experience in associated service line area
Preferred Qualifications
Emphasis on education with current clinical competence in service group
