Key Responsibilities
Support, supervise, and evaluate staff new to a clinical setting
Facilitate a multi-disciplinary and collaborative approach in healthcare provision
Promote excellence in nursing care through implementation of clinical standards
Function as a clinical resource and conduct patient care consultations
Support clinical rounds with the multi-disciplinary healthcare team
Required Qualifications
Master's Degree from a clinical nurse specialist program accredited by CCNE or NLNAC
Alaska Registered Nurse License
National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification
Current certification in area of specialty (i.e., CEN, CCRN)
3 years Registered nursing experience in area of specialty
2 years Clinical leadership responsibility
Preferred Qualifications
CNS certification in area of specialty
