Job Description
The Rehabilitation Liaison seeks out and responds promptly to referrals for potential Inpatient Rehabilitation patients. Reviews patient charts to determine appropriateness of admission according to CMS regulations. Develops and completes the required Pre-Admission Screening document to submit to the Rehabilitation Physician for review. Markets the Inpatient Rehabilitation Program to customers, current and potential referral sources, and the community to gain a fair market share of admissions for fiscal viability and growth of the program.
Position Responsibilities

Graduate from an accredited school of nursing, physical, occupational, or speech therapy program. Bachelor degree or higher preferred. A minimum of one year clinical or Case Management experience required, preferably in an Inpatient Rehab setting. Licensure to practice in the state of South Carolina. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider. Certified Rehabilitation RN (CRRN) preferred. Valid driver’s license required.
