Job Description
MRG Exams is seeking a dedicated Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Physician to conduct independent medical assessments for veterans. In this part-time role, you'll review medical records and complete VA Disability Benefits Questionnaires, contributing to timely and accurate disability evaluations.
Key Responsibilities
Review and analyze veterans' medical records through a secure web portal
Conduct comprehensive, non-treating assessments of veterans
Complete and submit VA-specific Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs)
Ensure thorough and accurate submissions of DBQs within 24 hours
Assess up to four veterans daily
Required Qualifications
Active MD or DO license
Specialization in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R)
Strong typing skills
Attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
Board certification in Neurological Surgery, PM&R, or Psychiatry and Neurology
Completed two-year residency in relevant specialty
